What cookies Metronoms uses, and why the list is short: only what's needed to sign you in and keep the site working. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser, alongside similar technologies like local storage. They can be used for many things — keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, analytics, or tracking you across the web for advertising. Metronoms uses them only for the first kind.
2. Strictly necessary
These make the service work; they cannot be switched off while using it:
- Authentication and session — keeping you signed in to platform.metronoms.com between requests and pages. Without these, every click would ask for your password again.
- Security — protecting sign-in and forms against forgery and abuse.
- Preferences — remembering interface choices such as your selected client or view settings, stored locally in your browser.
3. Analytics cookies
We currently use none. No Google Analytics, no usage trackers, on either metronoms.com or the application. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this page will list them before they are active, and consent will be requested where the law requires it.
4. Marketing and tracking cookies
We use none, and have no plans to. No advertising pixels, no remarketing identifiers, no cross-site tracking. Metronoms is paid for by subscriptions, not by advertising — which is why this category is empty.
5. Third-party cookies
Two situations bring a third party’s cookies into the picture, both under that party’s own policy:
- Stripe — when you open a checkout or payment page, Stripe sets cookies for payment security and fraud prevention.
- Connected platforms — signing in to Google or Facebook to connect an account happens on their pages, with their cookies.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because everything we set is strictly necessary, blocking cookies for platform.metronoms.com will prevent signing in — there is nothing optional to opt out of, because we never set anything optional.
7. Changes and contact
